Ronit Shapira, the conductor and musical director of the choir, is a graduate of the Levinsky College of Music Teachers who completed her studies in conducting at the Rubin Academy of Music, Tel Aviv University. She has attended many master classes on choir conducting abroad, and serves as lecturer of Methods and Choir Conducting at the Music College of the Lewinsky Seminar. In 1998 Ronit was awarded the “Excellent Conductor” Prize at the International Choir Conducting Competition in Italy.
